Webinar on NOK Entitlements

Keeping in mind COVID19 restrictions an online Webinar on NOK entitlements & benefits was organised from 12 Dec to 14 Dec 2020.



FWO Level Competitions


Home Decoration and Woolen Socks sewing competitions were organised at Family Welfare Organizations, HQ Delhi Area.



Talk on Welfare Schemes for NOKs

A virtual talk highlighting various welfare schemes available to NOKs was conducted via Google Meet for HQ Delhi Area NOKs and Veer Naaris as part of the Monthly Web Meeting.



Culinary Skill Demonstration

Families of Delhi Cantt demonstrated their culinary skills and prepared their local authentic delicacies like Veg Momos, Methi Laddoo, Jhunka, Rasmalai and more.
The online demonstration included various details while cooking the dishes.
Families keenly attended the Google meet and were benefited by the tips given by the participants.


International Women's Day 2021

(a) International Women’s Day was celebrated under the aegis of HQ Delhi Area on the theme ‘Waste Management & Climate Change’.

(b) As a run-up to the day, units organised various activities at their level from 05-06 Mar 21 to incl Lectures, Quiz etc on this pertinent issue of modern times

(c) The event culminated with a ‘Webinar’ organised on 08 Mar 21 for the families of Delhi Cantt Station.

(d) Eminent speakers from ‘Centre for Science and Environment’, New Delhi delivered talks on Climate Change and Waste Disposal & Composting.

(e) A short video on ‘How to make compost at home using Wet Waste’ was displayed.

(f) Later ‘Motivational Messages’ from Veer Naris staying in Delhi Area was shown to all the ladies and families showcasing immense determination and sacrifices of a soldiers’ loved ones.



Veer Naaris : Delhi Area

HQ Delhi Area, in keeping up the traditions of Indian Army, is always on the forefront when it comes to the welfare of our Veer Naris and Widows. Embracing a proactive approach, all the Veer Naris and Widows staying in Delhi Cantt are registered with AWWA Branch. A regular interaction is done with everyone on monthly basis in person, and any assistance required is provided on priority.
